Stellar Recruitment is a Vancouver-based IT and engineering recruitment firm, specializing in the placement of senior-level and highly technical personnel across multiple industries.

Goal: This client was undertaking a major brand transformation project, and required multiple logo variations, updated print materials and social media materials, an updated website, and signage. Our goal was to take their stiff brand identity and reposition them as a modern, tech-forward, fast-growing company.

Execution: For this project, I began by researching visuals commonly used in both tech and engineering, and seeing how I could combine them with the skyline of Vancouver. As Stellar is a local business, it was important for us to incorporate the imagery and heart of Vancouver with our design strategy. This is also where the unique "Stellar Teal" colour comes from: the murky, heavy blues and greens that saturate the Pacific Northwest. We took these thematic elements and combine them to create a successful brand that was complete with social media posts, evergreen blog content, a new website, multiple logo variations, and new print materials. ​
